LITTLE update on current conditions

There are a few bass being caught in the Rivers AND Atlantic  City inlet from what I have been told  and I also heard of a few being caught near the  boat ramp in Tuckahoe game preserve.  Perch have been caught in rivers and small creeks leading to rivers but it has been hit and miss.

While I am not fishing currently I would bet there are fluke in Ludlam Bay as they have been there for past 25 years . You need sunny days and best tide is outgoing… Work the edges of the channel in Ludlam, start 20-50 ft in shallow water and drift light jigs with shrimp type lures  .1/8 to 1/2 oz will bet you some fish… Sun  and outgoing tides will get you some fluke BUT REMEMBER IT IS CATCH AND RELEASE

Not a lot to report and my fishing days will be numbered this year,, Boat is up for sale if anyone interested with a good price. I have been finding some nice white perch and a couple of short bass fishing Tuckahoe and Great Egg  rivers from shore … I have heard of some decent catches up in the rivers of both  short bass and white perch . Bloodworms seems to be the bait of choice with grass shrimp second choice

Boulavard Bait and Tackle on Sea Isle Bvld  in Ocean View has some EXCELLENT blood worms and always has the lasted information along with everything you would need to catch fish .. IF I hear of anything getting hot I will post but for me I will be land based for most part as old age is catching up to me after tagging and releasing 20,000 plus fish
