After my hour on Shep’s radio show this morning I went to my dock to assess conditions and found little wind,no rain and tide almost up so decided to go looking.Tide was over the banks and I went looking for bass .Water temp 52 ,still cool with the constant easterly wind .I gave it 2 hours and saw very little in way of bait But did manage to land one 24″ bass and one blueback herring
Tide started out hard and I returned to the dock.I would not be surprised to hear of a bite on bottom of the tide as I suspect the water temp could climb to 56 or 57 waking up any fish that would be around BUT I won’t be there
I hope to get out again Monday and hope for some improved weather
