FISHING REPORT 7/5

ARTHUR went by with lot of rain and relatively light winds nothing over 35 so this morning I left dock at 4:30 looking for bass . After searching around with nothing I finally tied into one which only went 20″
Wind is stiff out of NW which is typical following a storm
I had to get to dock to re-rigged as I had a couple next generation fishermen with their fathers scheduled to go out looking for fluke..the next generation anglers were 2 years old
I was not optimistic as it was bottom of tide and given all the fresh water from rain just didn’t seem to be good conditions and wasn’t disappointed
Did manage to find 3 short fluke that put smiles on the kids face so that made my day
Not sure if I will fish tomorrow as roads and waterways are crowded but fish better look out starting Monday
