FISHING REPORT 9/14

A rather cool morning at 52 with a steady NW wind after a cold front moved through last night . Headed to my weakfish spot on outgoing tide. I trolled for 2 hours with only a 14″fluke to show for it.However I was convinced once tide got far enough down something would show up. Sure enough as soon as the first mud flat showed up I had a weakfish ,followed by a Bluefish. and after a dry spell found another Weakfish and once again a dry spell. Tide almost dead when I got into another Weakfish. This was a tough morning and nothing like yesterday
Fish were smaller 15-20″ .I suspect the 5 degree drop in water temp may have had something to do with the slow bite.
I will no fish tomorrow at least not in morning but plan to give it hell next week
